A woman was recently charged with theft after officers claim that she attempted to steal merchandise at a department store in North Dakota. Reports say that police received a report of two customers that appeared to be suspicious at a Kohl's store. Police arrived at the store and waited outside until a 22-year-old woman exited with an unidentified male.

Drug raid results in charges for 2 in North Dakota

According to officials, a drug raid that was executed in Thompson resulted in two adults being taken into police custody. In addition, two children were taken into protective custody. According to deputies, officers went to the residence to perform a probation search.

Man convicted on drug charges sentenced to 12 years

A North Dakota man who was found guilty on July 28 for conspiracy to distribute drugs that resulted in injury or death received 12 years in prison. According to reports, the 53-year-old man was accused of bringing over 33 pounds of methamphetamine into the state. The methamphetamine was allegedly linked to two deaths caused by overdose. The man who was sentenced was just one of several individuals who were indicted in 2013. The man and a second person were both charged for the death of the man's 59-year-old girlfriend on Feb. 6, 2013.

North Dakota man facing drug charges after disrupting hotel

A North Dakota man was taken into police custody on July 12 after he was accused of causing a disturbance at the hotel where he had been staying. According to the report, the 22-year-old man was accused of running through the hallways in his underwear while screaming at 3:39 a.m.

Armed robber who fired shots into camper remains at large
