Court documents related to a case in which two individuals were accused of operating a commercial sex business in North Dakota were released on Sept. 24. The documents accused the 32-year-old woman and the 32-year-old man of convincing California women to come to North Dakota in order to work in brothels between late 2012 and early 2014.
A woman was recently charged with theft after officers claim that she attempted to steal merchandise at a department store in North Dakota. Reports say that police received a report of two customers that appeared to be suspicious at a Kohl's store. Police arrived at the store and waited outside until a 22-year-old woman exited with an unidentified male.
An English teacher who taught at a North Dakota high school was charged on Aug. 22 after being accused of having sex with a female high school student more than five years ago. According to the press release, the alleged incidents occurred in February or March of 2009.

For what might be described as a relatively brief crime spree, a North Dakota man and a 17-year-old juvenile have recently been arrested and charged with several offenses. The adult has been accused of 19 charges, including more than 10 felony charges, while the charges against the juvenile have yet to be reported.
