Police in Fargo recently arrested a woman for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol. The penalties for drunk driving can be quite severe if prosecuting attorneys secure a conviction. As such, the actions this individual takes now are vitally important.
What happened?
According to reports, just after midnight on Saturday, Sept. 11, law enforcement officers received reports of a car accident in downtown Fargo. When they arrived on the scene, they found a woman had driven her vehicle into two parked cars. Thankfully, no one suffered injuries in the incident. Field sobriety and breath tests were performed, and the accused of placed under arrest. She was officially cited for DUI on Monday, Sept. 13.

The accused is a former prosecuting attorney and current judge based in Jamestown. She was appointed to her current position in 2017. Given her job and the charges against her, she has a lot on the line. She is due in court to address this matter on Sept 23.
